We are pleased to announce that TECCON Austria with its Passive Safety Center is now an official partner laboratory of ALEE - Alliance des laboratoires d'essai européenne GmbH.
ALEE is a technical service that brings together leading European testing laboratories with the aim of significantly advancing technological development and road safety through common standards, the highest quality requirements and close cooperation.
As a new member of this strong alliance, we at TECCON are once again underlining our claim to set standards in passive vehicle safety. Our Passive Safety Center stands for modern testing technologies, in-depth technical expertise and maximum precision - from prototype development to series approval.
ALEE offers the following services within the scope of EU type approval:
- Performance of tests in accredited test laboratories
- Complete approval process with the responsible authorities
- Creation of standard-compliant description folders
- Training courses for employees in the area of EU type approval

A major milestone for the future of aviation: the first flight with our innovative hydrogen engine!

After more than two years of intensive research and development as part of our H2-Finity project, we carried out the first successful flight with a gaseous hydrogen propulsion system in Rotenburg on November 8, 2024. This is based on a fuel cell that drives an electric motor - a significant step towards sustainable aviation technologies.
This project was only possible thanks to the collaboration with our great partners: mb+Partner, Thelsys and the ZAL - Center of Applied Aeronautical Research. We would like to thank them for their active support and great commitment. Special thanks also go to the Hamburgische Investitions- und Förderbank (IFB Hamburg) for the funding within the framework of the GATE I program. Without this support, this success would not have been possible.
The last few months have been characterized by intensive tests and inspections. From the evaluation of individual components to the complex installation in the drone, we have gained important insights for the future - be it in the areas of flight physics, cooling, electronics or function. This successful maiden flight marks an important step on the way to realizing our vision.
We are now looking forward with great motivation to the upcoming test phases and the final spurt of the project. A big thank you goes to our entire team at TECCON Consulting & Engineering GmbH - for the passion, commitment and innovative spirit that made this project possible.

Today we have reached a major milestone: we are now officially accredited as a Euro NCAP test laboratory.
